Stopping in Time.
Three trips to the clinic, three closed doors – and a laugh in a traffic jam when she recognized the answer.
Bella and the vaccination appointments: three tries, and each time something got in the way – missing drops, a clinic playing for time, and finally a traffic jam, minutes after she had said inwardly: if it isn't needed right now, something will get in the way. And then we'll simply surrender to that. She laughed out loud in the taxi. As if the Universe said: I heard you.
You can read her protection ritual any way you like – this way never asks for belief. What her story actually practices needs no ritual at all: asking, then releasing the outcome, then taking what happens as an answer. A Radical Thought walks the same ground – timing too rhythmic to be coincidence, guidance that speaks through what happens rather than through argument. And her one-line landing is the precise part: sometimes protection means stopping in time and allowing events to arrange themselves.
She calls the signs gentle but very clear. That's how they usually come.
Today I was reminded again how finely and precisely the Universe talks with us.
We needed to get Sara her vaccinations. Three shots and drops.
Before the first trip my husband and I did a protection. We arrive at the clinic – they have everything except the drops. We looked at each other like, well, ok – so the protection worked.
I book an appointment at a second clinic, in Krylatskoye. Before leaving I do the protection again. We arrive, and they give us the runaround and tell us to come back in a month.
I'm already starting to smile.
I book a third time. We drive. In the taxi my husband and I do the protection again, and inside I say to myself: if she doesn't need this vaccine right now, something will get in the way, for sure. The medicine won't be there, there'll be a traffic jam, and so on.
And then we'll simply surrender to that.
And literally a few minutes later we come to a dead stop in a monstrous traffic jam in Kuntsevo.
And in that moment I laughed.
As if the Universe said:
I heard you.
Sometimes protection is about stopping in time and allowing events to arrange themselves the way they need to.
I'm learning this more and more.
And I thank the Universe for such gentle but very clear signs.
Thank you for reading.
If her words reached somewhere mine don't – good. That's what this blog is for. Take what fits and leave the rest.
