It's not important whether you believe in God, the universe, a higher power — or not at all. That part doesn't really matter.

What I've found for myself, especially in life's darkest moments — when you're truly at rock bottom — is that something subtle opens up for you. A quiet door. As if the darkness itself is a teacher, a guide.

And sometimes, just when you need it most, the right people show up. Opportunities arise. Or you feel an inner pull — to go somewhere, to do something. Or you find yourself deeply drawn to someone, and you don't even know why.

Personally, I find it hard to chalk all that up to mere coincidence. That just can't be the end of the story. Right? There's a rhythm to it, a quiet intelligence behind the timing of things — a feeling that life, in its own mysterious way, is always trying to speak to us, if we're willing to listen.

To me, it feels like something is gently guiding us. Its language? Love. But not the kind we usually talk about. A deeper, quieter love. One that touches the soul.

I don't claim to know what it is or how it works. Call it God, the universe, the great spirit, your heart, or simply intuition — whatever resonates with you. But once we open ourselves to the possibility that there is something more — something greater that reaches out to guide, support, and love us — it changes everything.

When we begin to accept that there's more to life than what we can see or control, we might realize that maybe… we're not meant to be in full control. And strangely, that realization can be deeply freeing. It's a truly radical thought, in fact.

Yes, we can steer our ship. But life is a river — and we're in the boat. We can shift a little left, a little right… but we can't control the current. And the harder we try to fight it, the more energy it drains. The more resistance, the more pain. Until we can't go on. Until we hit bottom — burnout, depression, fear, anxiety.

But when we begin to surrender to life's flow, to embrace it rather than resist it, to deeply accept — we can finally breathe again. Breathe! And let go. And begin to hear our inner voice. To live from the heart, not the mind. To follow the gentle guidance within us, rather than forcing our way forward by will alone.

It takes courage. It takes trust — so much trust. And time.

But it's worth it. It's absolutely necessary.

Because that's when we truly meet ourselves — with love. That's when we begin to understand that we are loved. That we are guided. That we are being taken care of.

And yes – that we deserve it.
