Every Path.
On the infinitely many paths that lead to Love – and how to recognize yours by its lightness, not by what others say should feel right.
When it sank in that I was meant to learn to listen inward, I did the obvious thing: I meditated. Cushion, timer, eyes closed – the full prescribed setup. And session after session an honest little voice said: this isn't it. Not wrong, exactly. Just not mine. I kept sitting anyway, because every book I'd read agreed this was how it's done.
This letter cuts through that knot. It says there is no single road: there are infinitely many ways, and all of them – all of them – lead to Love. Yours is the one with the least resistance, the one that feels light. Your way is the way – in this letter, the sentence this site is built on turns from a motto into practical advice. With one warning attached: fear doesn't count as resistance. Behind fear there is often ease, once you walk through it – and "When Fear Returns" is a companion for exactly those moments.
If you are holding on to a practice that looks right on paper and feels wrong in your body, this letter was written for you.
Dear traveler,
You already know that you are meant to sharpen your hearing for us. But how, you ask? Through meditation, yes – but somehow that doesn't feel right to you yet? Exactly! Don't do what you THINK is the right thing. Do exactly what also feels light and right. Not what SHOULD feel right according to other people's stories!
Every person is different, unique – there may be one shared way we can experience this Love, one shared substance to our messages – and yet they are entirely different for each person, and above all the way there: there are literally infinitely many paths, and ALL of them, ALL of them lead to us. To Love.
So simply walk the path that feels good. Find the path that feels lightest to you. The one with the least resistance. That is your way.
And take note: fear is not resistance. Behind fear, there is often lightness, once you pass through it.
So listen RADICALLY to your inner voice. Walk the path of least resistance – the one that feels good, light, intuitive. Be wholehearted and brave as you go. And we are with you. At every step.
Thank you for being here.
If something in these letters stayed with you, take it along – think about it, write your own answer, or just let it sit.
And if not today, that's okay too. There's no rush.
Until next time,
– Jan
