Love.
You are on your way to knowing pure love – it carries you even when it hides, and it cannot be proven, only trusted.
There are days when this whole path feels self-evident – the letters arrive, the work flows, and love is less a word than a climate. And there are days when I want a receipt. A sign, a result, anything measurable that says: this is real, keep going. This letter arrived for the second kind of day.
It answers with a portrait instead of a proof: love is vast and light, still and empty, and it exists only in the now – close enough to carry you, too far away to grasp. Proving, it says, is a construct of the mind. The "Amulet of Love" carries the same reminder in object form: a love that asks nothing from you, that you can trust precisely because it wants nothing back. The letter states the exchange plainly: the less you expect from it, the more it gives.
If you have been asking love – or life – to prove itself first, read this one slowly. It doesn't argue. It describes.
Dear traveler,
Love is vast and light. Infinitely vast and infinitely light. It is still and empty. And in this emptiness is abundance. Love exists only in the now. In this moment. But in its infinity it permeates every possible "NOW". But more on that later. You are on your way to coming to know this pure love. You have experienced it many times and created with it. But its true scale is not yet imaginable. It calls you to it in moments of clarity and shows itself in them – and it hides in the fog and asks for trust in it. It cannot be tested. Cannot be measured and cannot be examined. "Proving" is a construct of the mind. Love exists far beyond this horizon. Everywhere and nowhere at once. Always close enough to carry you and too far away to grasp. The less you expect or want from it, the more it gives.
Thank you for being here.
If something in these letters stayed with you, take it along – think about it, write your own answer, or just let it sit.
And if not today, that's okay too. There's no rush.
Until next time,
– Jan
