By the time this letter came, I was already half out of my chair. I had begun to create – really create, freely, from the heart, for the first time – and the pull to get back to it was stronger than the ritual of sitting down to ask. The letter answers exactly that impatience: the feeling is right. Go.

Then it goes further, and this is the part I keep rereading: claim this way of being. Radically. Sleep when you are tired, create when the urge comes, do nothing when nothing wants to be done – and let none of it need fixing. "The Creative Process" says creativity follows your inner rhythm, not outer expectations; this letter is what that rhythm feels like from inside a single day.

If your days are still organized around what you should be doing, this letter has a different suggestion.

Dear traveler,

You are on the right path. On YOUR path. You are discovering your artistic side. Your creativity. And you are giving it room. Yes, you can feel it. For the first time you are creating completely freely, from the heart. That has an entirely different quality. It is liberating. You can be you. You grow as you create.

It is deeply healing, and you can feel that from now on you will always create this way. That you will radically claim this way of being. That you will allow your whole being to show itself and to unfold. That you will accept it completely – without changing it. Without wanting to "heal" it.

You simply let it flow. When you are tired, you sleep. When you feel the urge, you create – and when nothing wants to be done right now, you do nothing. That is surrender. Give yourself over. With deep trust. With love.

Thank you for being here.

If something in these letters stayed with you, take it along – think about it, write your own answer, or just let it sit.

And if not today, that's okay too. There's no rush.

Until next time,
– Jan
