The Body Says Stop.

Four workouts started, none finished, the brain still scheduling – until she heard what the body had been screaming all morning.

The Body Says Stop

The day starts against her: a month of lost weight back overnight, crying, laughing, crying again. Then four workouts started and abandoned in twenty angry minutes, and – the honest detail that makes this post – even the spiritual room refuses her: her soul bucks like her daughter at bedtime, not tired enough to be put down. Some days everything is the wrong door.

What turns it isn't willpower but a change of listener. Her body had been saying one thing all morning – stop – while the brain kept scheduling. This site calls that voice the compass: guidance speaks through the body, through tiredness and resistance, and heaviness is information, never a debt. Being Whole is a guided way into exactly that hearing. Her version ends with the instruction in working order: once you've heard the inner voice, do what it asks.

She had already declared a day like this once, two posts ago. This one shows the machinery behind the declaration.

With tenderness to yourself

How often are we used to doing things by force? Because we have to, or because the result is badly needed, and so on.
And let's not forget we have our women's days, which knock us out of the usual rhythm.

Today I woke up and had already managed to get upset: the weight I'd lost over a month came back in a day🙈 Then I cried, laughed, and cried again. Went to do my workout, started four different trainings and understood: I can't. Decided to “work” a little in the spiritual room. Didn't go. Opened the guide, talked a bit, understood that today I need to get off my own back. And as you've guessed, it's the hormonal storm before the “lovely” days.

And yes, it was hard. This week I'd only trained three days and thought I'd make up for it properly on the weekend – and there I was, puffing away for twenty minutes, starting one workout after another, angry, hating it, until I understood that my body was screaming “stop”.
Then I dragged myself into spirituality. Where my body, my soul bucked just like my daughter does when I try to put her to sleep and she isn't tired yet.

Sometimes it's very important to hear your body and give it a pause. Not to keep doing things by force only because the brain decided so.

Sometimes there's a battle between the brain and the inner voice, and it takes time to hear it – but as soon as you've heard it, do what it asks. And believe me: you'll only be better for it.
