100 Wishes.

Write down a hundred wishes, wait six years, write them again – and see who you've become.

100 Wishes

A hundred wishes, written out in detail – not “a phone” but the exact model, storage, color. Bella's mentor gave her that assignment in 2019. A few weeks ago she found a blank form and wrote the list again – and almost nothing from the old one survived.

The exercise itself is manifestation practice in its plainest form, and the Manifest guide on this site walks the same road: name what you long for precisely, then listen to where it comes from. That's the part her two lists make visible – the 2019 wishes were pleasant and outer; the 2025 ones grew from a different soil. Not because wanting a handbag is wrong, but because her question changed: what actually stays?

Her closing question is worth sitting with longer than a purchase lasts.

💫 100 wishes. Then and now.

About 7 years ago, small things made me happy.
Or, more precisely, it seemed like they did.

Maybe it's age.
Or maybe – the fruits of inner work.
Most likely, both together.
But more and more often I notice how my priorities are changing.
My wishes. My understanding of happiness.

In 2019 my then mentor asked me to write a list – 100 wishes.
At first it seemed: easy!
But by the 30th it got hard.
And one more condition – describe each wish in detail.
Not just “an iPhone” but, say: iPhone 15 Pro Max, 216 GB, in pink.
I wrote. A lot.
Sadly, that list didn't survive the move,
but some of the wishes I remember to this day.

And now – 2025.
A couple of weeks ago I found a blank form for 100 wishes. And decided to write it again.

And I was struck
by how much my wishes had changed.

In 2019 it was:
a handbag, boots, jewelry, trips, gadgets.
Pleasant, material things.
Nothing wrong with them – but all of it outer.

And in 2025 – something else entirely.

A home of our own. Health.
A deep understanding of myself.
Spiritual growth.
Love.
Contact with myself and with the world.

And I began to wonder:
what is happiness – for me?

A new handbag, whose joy lives a couple of days?
Or the calm that lives inside
and makes every day – light and real?

Thank you for reading.

If her words reached somewhere mine don't – good. That's what this blog is for. Take what fits and leave the rest.
