Making the thing turned out to be the easy part. It is the showing that stops me: the moment before hitting publish, when I start rewriting the honest version into the version I think people want to hear – and checking, an hour later, whether anyone cared.

This letter closes that gap with one instruction: share the way you create. "A Radical Thought" plants the mantra – I have no desired outcome – and this letter carries it into the moment of publishing: expect nothing, force nothing, let out what needs out. And then it goes one step further and calls the whole thing play.

If you have a finished thing sitting unshared because of what people might think, this letter is for you.

Dear traveler,

Do you feel the wave you are riding right now? How you discover something new almost daily? New insights, new perspectives, new aspects – and how you process and integrate them into your creating? You are doing really well.

To go out with all this (that is: with these perspectives), to share your creation – that is not easy. Share the way you create. What feels good and light? Expect nothing, force nothing. Let out what needs out – not what you think people want to hear. Authentic, from your self. Be truthful and intuitive here too. Do not let the others distract you.

And rest assured: You have time. You cannot do anything wrong. You do not have to undo anything. Experiment. Try different things. This, too, is a game! Play! Playing is light. Playing is intuitive. Play!

And remember to let go, again and again. To let it go, and to make room for something new.

Thank you for being here.

If something in these letters stayed with you, take it along – think about it, write your own answer, or just let it sit.

And if not today, that's okay too. There's no rush.

Until next time,
– Jan

Messages from Beyond
A daily practice: I ask a question – of the universe, of Love, of the great Beyond – and write down the answer that comes. Here are the ones about creating.
