Light and Easy.
Let the doors open by themselves – and step through the ones that feel good and light. Even the good things may come easily.
There are weeks when I catch my hands closing around outcomes again – a person I hope will stay, a project I need to land a certain way. I know the grip well. It always promises safety and delivers tension.
The answer brought back a mantra that has carried me before: I have no desired outcome. "Desired Outcome" tells the story of its first arrival; this letter hands it to me again, months later, unworn. Let the doors open by themselves, walk through the ones that feel good and light – and let it be easy, even when it is good, even when it pays. The will steps back, and you become available for what wants to come.
If your grip has tightened around something lately, borrow the words. They work in any language, but they were given in this one.
Dear traveler,
"I have no desired outcome" is your new mantra. That is exactly what this is about right now.
Let the doors open by themselves, and step through the ones that feel good and light. It may be light. It may be easy. Even when it is good. Even when it brings a lot of money. What is good for you is light and easy.
And the openness and clarity to feel this lightness – you gain them by having "no desired outcome". And with that, your will steps back; you feel, and you are receptive. Available for what wants to come to you and magically draws you in.
"I have no desired outcome"
Thank you for being here.
If something in these letters stayed with you, take it along – think about it, write your own answer, or just let it sit.
And if not today, that's okay too. There's no rush.
Until next time,
– Jan
