Desired Outcome.

Forcing is wanting, wanting is expectation, and expectation breeds fear – stillness, clarity, and truth wait where the outcome is released.

This letter answered a realization from the day before it arrived. I had put something I believed in into the world, and within a day I was back to checking: reading the numbers, weighing reactions, asking whether it was working. Somewhere between the second and the tenth check, the work I loved had turned into a result I needed.

The letter draws the chain in a few short strokes: forcing is wanting, wanting is expectation, expectation brings the fear of disappointment – and fear closes exactly the heart the work comes from. "The Art of Letting Go" describes the same turn as acting consciously, without fear of the outcome and without the urge to control everything. This letter says it in one breath: be open to every outcome.

If you have been pushing at something that used to carry you, read it slowly. The last three sentences are a compass.

Dear traveler,

Do not try to force it. Do not try to force. Because that is WANTING. Wanting is expectation. Expectation brings the fear of disappointment. Fear is heavy. Fear is not intuitive. It is diffuse. It closes the heart and clouds the inner truth. Forcing is the attempt to control. And you remember: control is an illusion. So when you notice that you are expecting, that you are trying to force, remember: You never had control. You only have fear. Be open to every outcome and trust that things happen the way they are meant to. Give yourself to the flow. Let go. And there, in this letting go and this surrender, you find stillness and clarity. You find truth. Your inner truth. Your essence. And it feels light. Authentic. You feel a longing for it. And then allow yourself to give in to this longing. To give yourself completely to this flow. To let it flow through you and to create from this truth with love. Without a "desired outcome". Simply let yourself be carried and trust that the direction is right. Follow the lightness. The inner voice. The intuition.

Thank you for being here.

If something in these letters stayed with you, take it along – think about it, write your own answer, or just let it sit.

And if not today, that's okay too. There's no rush.

Until next time,
