I know the feeling of an idea that won't leave me alone. It taps on my shoulder while I answer mail, while I cook, while I try to sleep – and I keep telling it: later, when I'm ready, when it's better thought through.

This letter cuts through all of that. It says the readiness I keep waiting for is already here: if something wants out and it feels true, let it out. In The Creative Process we trace how that impulse becomes a finished thing – but it starts exactly here.

Here is the letter, short as the impulse itself.

Dear traveler,

There is so much you already know, and so much you will still discover.
If you like, you can create with that knowledge and those discoveries – and in doing so, process them for yourself.
If you wish, you can create a channel for that processing – and share your discoveries with others.

What feels right and “wants to come out” is right.
If you feel that inner urge, that something simply must come out, then feel into yourself whether it is authentic – just as you have learned – and if it is: let it happen.

That's how you create.
That's how we all create.
That is The Way of Creation.

Thank you for being here.

If something in these letters stayed with you, take it along – think about it, write your own answer, or just let it sit.

And if not today, that's okay too. There's no rush.

Until next time,
– Jan
