Finding Time.
Time for what matters is not found in an emptier calendar – it is created, in small moments of clarity.
This letter is from late December – the season when the calendar wins. A new engagement had begun, the days were full, and the writing practice that carries this site had thinned to almost nothing. I sat down anyway, mostly to apologize for that.
The answer doesn't ask for more time. The moments of clarity can be created inside a full life – and the things you want to make don't need to be perfect, they need to be made, in the time you are given. "Being Whole" offers one way in: a short, guided return to the inner voice. Feel, act, let go – and what matters fits.
If your own practice has thinned lately, this one is for you.
Dear traveler,
How good that you are here. That you find time – and take it – to listen inward. That you keep doing this is good, and it guides you on your way.
Even when less time remains right now, you can create these moments of clarity. Become aware of the ease; allow it to be simple.
And for the things you want to create – don't try to make them "perfect". Simply make them, in the time you are given. Feel. Act intuitively, and then let go again, immediately. That is how you find time for everything that matters.
Thank you for being here.
If something in these letters stayed with you, take it along – think about it, write your own answer, or just let it sit.
And if not today, that's okay too. There's no rush.
Until next time,
– Jan
