The Pendulum.
A tool is neither light nor dark – what matters is the intention, and what it teaches you to hear.

An unexpected gift, and not the one she was hoping for – that's how the pendulum entered Bella's life. This is the most “esoteric” post on this blog so far, so a word on how such things are held here: with open hands. Whether something answers through a pendulum or your own depth answers through it – you don't have to decide. Neither does she.
Underneath the tool, her point is one this whole site stands on: there is a voice in you worth hearing, and most of us need something that helps us stop and listen – an object, a practice, a page. This site has its Amulet and the Being Whole meditation. Bella has her pendulum. The tool is exchangeable; the listening is not.
Take it as she offers it – one instrument that fits one hand. Yours may look different.
🔮 The pendulum
Today I want to tell you about the pendulum.
There's a lot of talk around it too: esoterics, black magic, “dangerous energies”…
In truth, as with any other tool, it all depends on how you use it.
There is light and shadow in everything. What matters is intention.
On one of our first dates my (then future) husband gave me a pendulum.
It was not at all the gift I was expecting.
I didn't even understand what it was for or what to do with it.
But later he told me a lot, and showed me how he uses his own.
And I learned too. A little differently, in my own style – as it should be.
We always look for the tools that fit us,
and we interpret everything in our own way.
At first the pendulum was silent.
Like the monkey with the glasses in the fable, I turned it over in my hands, not knowing what to do with it.
And then – at the right moment – something clicked.
I began to use it more and more.
Yes, at first I treated it almost like a magic ball:
“Tell me, will I get married? Come on, say yes!” 😀
But with experience came understanding.
I began to use the pendulum consciously, with respect, with trust.
And for two years now – it has been my little helper.
The other day I was leafing through my working notebook – and saw that everything I once asked about has come true.
What I worked on – worked itself out.
Some fears left, doubts dissolved.
But the most important thing –
the pendulum taught me to hear myself.
If you're interested,
I'll gladly tell you more:
how to choose a pendulum, how to work with it,
and how to turn it into a guide – not in a magical sense,
but as an instrument of connection with yourself.
Thank you for reading.
If her words reached somewhere mine don't – good. That's what this blog is for. Take what fits and leave the rest.
