Not a Ladder.

Thirty-four, still deciding who to be – until the winding path stopped reading as failure and started reading as nature.

Not a Ladder

The first line points back to an earlier post on her channel about a chart-reading tool – the tool is the occasion here, not the point. The point starts with an envy many will recognize: people like her husband, who knew at eighteen, chose one road and walked it. Next to that, her thirty-four years of still deciding read – in her own words – as defective, a failure.

Then the reframe: what she had filed as inconsistency turns out to be her nature. A path through roles, trials, and changes isn't a broken ladder; it's a different shape of way – and this site's root sentence exists precisely for that: your way is the way. Worth saying plainly: the chart didn't make this true, it gave her permission to see what was already true. A Place to Go calls that releasing a limitation – here, the story that there is only one right road.

Her closing line is the practice in one sentence: what seems negative in us sometimes turns out to be the gift. Look again.

And who am I?

In this post I already wrote about the guide bot – it may seem banal, but no. I sent it to many of my girlfriends and they were very surprised; as one of them said: it's as if it had lived my whole life with me.
And thanks to it you can learn and understand a lot.
I always looked with envy at people like my husband: an interest in a particular profession since childhood, university after school, then straight to work – and in fact a life devoted to career growth in that direction. Me, at my 34 years, I'm still thinking about who I want to be. And it always seemed to me that I was defective, a failure. And today I decided to look a little into my chart and understand what is “wrong” with me. As it turned out – everything is very much right.

My charts say I'm not a person of the classical career ladder. I wasn't given the story of “choose a profession at 18 and walk one road for 30 years”. The opposite: my path goes through searching, experience, trial and error. Through different roles, interests and stages of life.

What I considered my inconsistency turned out to be my nature. What matters to me is not simply doing a job, but understanding people, sharing experience, supporting, helping others through changes and finding meaning.

My fulfilment is not in building a career by the accepted script, but in gathering, with time, all my experience into something of my own.
And everywhere it says “helping people”, “through people” and so on.

And I would like you, too, to look differently at some of your qualities and moments of your life. Sometimes what seems negative in us turns out to be positive🥰

Thank you for reading.
