Rest.
When tiredness takes over and nothing gets done, something is still happening – just not on the level you can see.
Some days the tiredness arrives without a reason I could point to. Nothing dramatic happened – I just couldn't. The list stayed open, and I kept negotiating with myself: after a coffee, after lunch, tomorrow at the latest. And underneath it, the low hum of guilt.
I asked about exactly that tiredness, and the answer turned it around completely: nothing has stalled. Something is working – on levels I can't watch – and it is drawing the energy it needs. The rest is not a gap in the preparation; it is the preparation. "The Fog" said it about a single day – today is not the time to do. This letter says it about a whole stretch of life.
If your body has been saying the same thing lately, this one is for you.
Dear traveler,
The tiredness forces you to do nothing. Because now is not the time "for doing". Enormous processes are happening right now on higher levels. They need a lot of energy, and they demand sleep and rest accordingly.
All your projects and plans can wait. There is nothing you should be doing instead. So simply give yourself over to this tiredness and allow the processes to unfold. And recharge the energy you need.
All of this serves to prepare the next steps on your life's way. You are in the right place, at the right time.
Thank you for being here.
If something in these letters stayed with you, take it along – think about it, write your own answer, or just let it sit.
And if not today, that's okay too. There's no rush.
Until next time,
– Jan
