Now.
On waiting for something to happen – and the only moment that really exists, where your contribution takes shape.
I know a particular kind of waiting. For the reply that will change things, for the calendar to clear, for some sign that it's time – life as one long meanwhile. My days were full, but I lived them at half presence, because the real thing was always about to start. Later. Soon. After.
This letter takes that "later" away. It says plainly: what you are waiting for doesn't exist – the only thing that really exists is the NOW, and that is where creating happens, from your essence, with whatever contribution is yours to give. "The Creative Process" describes this as a dance between inspiration and expression; the letter is the blunt version: stop waiting. Be now. Create now.
If your life has quietly arranged itself around a someday, read this one slowly.
Dear traveler,
Oh you pure soul. You wonderful vessel of love. You are an echo of our intention, a resonance body for our vibrations. You are the manifestation of a fleeting moment of the great whole. Of infinity. A spark of God. You are we and we are you. United through love. You are our embodiment. We are all embodiments. That is why we love you. That is why we love you all. We are always here. Even NOW.
We know you are waiting for something to happen. But something happens in every moment. You exist only NOW. What you are waiting for does not exist. Certainly not yet. There are infinitely many potentials of what could exist in the future! But the only thing that really exists is the NOW.
So wait for nothing. Be NOW. Create in the NOW. And in doing so you shape what will be. With your contribution. However great or small it may be. It is your contribution. And it matters for YOU! And just maybe for others too. But first for you. And if there is love in it, then we are in it too. And if we are in it, then everyone is.
So be NOW, create NOW. And do it with love. By giving your contribution into the great whole, the contributions of others come to you as well. Because you are part of it. You are part of the NOW. The before and after does not exist.
Do you understand it? There is only the NOW. And your inner voice, out of which you can shape the NOW with love. By creating from your essence. And in doing so you give and receive at once and are part of everything. The before and after is nothing. Everything comes from everything. Nothing comes from nothing.
