Connected.

You are never as separate as the pain claims – letting go is the basis of being connected, reachable for what wants to come.

Two days after the letter that became "Available", I asked an open question: what would you have me know today? The answer picked up exactly where the last one ended – the same word, even – as if that letter had been the definition and this one the reason.

Because why let go at all? Not to feel calmer, not to perform serenity. This letter puts the ground underneath it: letting go is the base from which everything else arises on its own, and the end of the separateness that pain grows from. What "Coming Alive" calls coming home to yourself, this letter calls being connected.

It is short, and it is complete. Read it slowly.

Dear traveler,

The true letting go you are just discovering – that is what this moment is about. It is your next step, and at the same time your first step into this new way of living.

Complete letting go is the key and the foundation for coming into contact with the present moment and with your true self. For hearing your inner voice and your feeling, and being able to surrender to it. Out of this base everything else arises as if by itself. Because in this base you are "available". Reachable for what wants to come to you. What wants to come into your life. Wants to interact with you. Wants to arise through you.

Practice this letting go, consciously and deliberately. Letting go is the basis of being connected. Being connected means not being separate. All suffering and pain springs from separateness. Letting go, and being connected.

Thank you for being here.

If something in these letters stayed with you, take it along – think about it, write your own answer, or just let it sit.

And if not today, that's okay too. There's no rush.

Until next time,
– Jan
