App Terms of Use.

Version 2026-10-24

These terms cover the native The Way of Creation app. It brings together writings, Cards of Creation and the Companion, an AI conversation partner that answers from the writings. The website and Telegram service have separate terms.

Who is responsible.

The Swiss operator identified below is responsible for the app and the processing described here. Contact hello@thewayofcreation.com for questions about the app or your data.

Who may use the app.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this app. By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

App licence and these terms.

Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement governs your licence to the app software. These App Terms govern the app services operated by the Swiss operator identified above. They do not replace Apple’s purchase terms or reduce rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. You can read both app documents before agreeing and later in Settings.

AI and personal decisions.

The writings, cards and Companion offer spiritual and creative reflection. They are not therapy, medical or psychological care, or a substitute for professional advice. The Companion is AI, not a person. Its answers can be incomplete or wrong; check what matters before acting on it.

If you are in immediate danger or thinking of harming yourself, contact local emergency services, a crisis line or someone you trust. The app is not an emergency service.

Free and paid use.

Reading and drawing random cards do not require a subscription. AI use requires sign-in and consent. Each calendar month, free use permits up to three card searches and up to three Companion replies in one conversation, within a shared cost limit. A monthly subscription gives a larger AI allowance. Settings → Usage shows your remaining use and reset time.

Allowances limit provider cost, so the number of requests available depends on the context and response. Chat, card matching, Guide and memory suggestions use the allowance. Hourly and daily limits also apply. Paid use is not unlimited, and unused allowance does not carry over. Reaching a limit does not remove your writings, kept cards or saved conversations.

Subscribing, cancelling and restoring.

The purchase sheet shows Apple's localized monthly price before you confirm. Apple handles billing and renewal under the terms for your Apple Account and country. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled through Apple. Use Settings → Subscription to manage or restore it. Cancellation normally leaves access until the paid period ends; refunds or revocation can end it earlier.

Signing out, uninstalling the app or deleting the service account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel separately through Apple if you no longer want it. Refund requests go through Apple's refund process; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Your content and responsible use.

Your messages remain yours. We process them only as needed to provide the functions you choose, as described in the App Privacy Policy. Do not submit another person's confidential information without permission or use the service to violate others' rights. Automated abuse, evading limits or fraudulent purchases can lead to restricted access.

Writings and images belong to their identified authors or rights holders. Care of Souls texts retain their attribution. Sharing the app's public links is welcome. Other reuse must respect the author's or rights holder's permissions and applicable law.

Availability and your saved data.

AI and online services may be unavailable. Local reading remains available from downloaded content. Keep any important material independently; losing an encryption key or device can make local data unrecoverable, and iCloud sync is not a guarantee of recovery.

We will communicate material changes to paid terms before they take effect. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected by these terms.

Responsibility and applicable law.

Use the app as a source of reflection and make your own decisions. We do not promise that AI answers are correct, that online services are always available or that lost encrypted data can be recovered. We remain responsible where applicable law requires it, including for intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence; nothing here excludes mandatory liability or consumer rights.

Swiss law governs these app-service terms, subject to any mandatory protections and courts available to you under the law of your habitual residence. No mandatory arbitration, waiver of statutory rights or exclusive foreign court is imposed.

Changes to these documents.

Each Terms and Privacy Policy version is identified by its date and content hash. The app presents revised documents for a new explicit choice. Acknowledging a revised privacy notice does not automatically grant a new AI, Memory or iCloud permission. Changes that need additional processing consent are presented separately before that processing begins.
